About Nambucca River Jockey Club

Following many years in recess the Nambucca River Jockey Club recommenced racing in 1975. It has been an important venue for country race meetings on the mid north coast of NSW since that time.

The Club hosts the now famous Bowraville Cup meeting in September each year along with the Phillip Hughes Memorial Race Day on Boxing Day. Both of these race days are TAB meetings. The Club also hosts the Bellingen Cup meeting in late June and the Macksville Cup in early December.

The Nambucca River Jockey Club racing calendar always attracts locals and visitors from far and wide and these supporters enjoy relaxed country racing at its best at the picturesque track at Bowraville.

The track is situated in one of the prettiest parts of Australia just outside the historic town of Bowraville, just 45 minutes from Coffs Harbour.
